This project examines how temperature shocks influence intimate partner violence (IPV) in Bolivia. By linking household survey data with high-resolution climate records, I find that extreme heat and cold increase IPV risk, but effects vary sharply by altitude and community context. The findings highlight the importance of climate adaptation policies that address gender-based vulnerabilities.
